Apple Watch and Accessibility

Apple released the much anticipated Apple watch on April 24. Despite the growing excitement around the release of this revolutionary watch, there were very few people lined up outside of stores, and this is exactly what Apple wanted to try and raise there public image which can be tarnished by long lines of people camped out in front of a store.

The watch is proving to be very beneficial to people with visual or hearing impairments. An article in The Independent detailed how the watch helps a women who is dead and blind to navigate a city effectively while being independent.

While I am waiting for Apple to come out with a version with a bigger screen and more apps, I know the Apple watch has created quite a buzz around campus.
