Student Spotlight

Now that the residual paint has been sprayed away from the sidewalks, and the cheers of the crowd have died down, I think it is time to spotlight a couple people who have been an integral part of this year’s Drake Relays experience.

My fist spotlight goes to Mark Reiter and Natalie Larson who were this year’s Drake Relay ambassadors. As a part of their responsibilities, they were in charge of representing and encouraging student interaction through the weeks events. The photo below shows the excitement and honor these two had in their important positions.

My second spotlight goes to sophomore Kelly Marble who is Community Events Coordinator at Drake University department of Community Engagement and Service Learning. As a part of her exciting position, she was in charge of organizing, planning, and engaging the local Des Moines community in the downtown street painting event. Here is a collage of photos from the event. 11009192_10206599017672930_5187593554663598578_n
