Over spring break I went skiing in Winter Park. The skiing was awesome, with long steep runs, not a lot of ice, and warm conditions which made a long day of skiing comfortable.
My vacation started in chilly Minneapolis where I met Rick Vernon who was standing behind me in line to board the place. Rick invented and patented the gray patch in microwave popcorn. He came across the invention in college, when a friend gave him metal shavings to pop his popcorn with. He still gets a cent a bag.
He also invented the heat transfer for airplane tickets. The way he explained it to me, hear transferes from the bar code to the scammer. He also explained that the currently technology has been around since the 1980s and that there are only a few co,panties producing the scammers or trung to deploy mew scanning methods.
